About This Tour
A 60-minute private tasting session at Avaton 1739, inside the historic monastery kitchen of the Ursulines in Naxos Castle. Taste six carefully selected wines from small island producers: Trampelo Odd Blend, Malagouzia Moraitis, ALO Kostaki, Sclavos Alchemist, Santorini and Fabrika Orgion. Each wine is paired with fine Greek island cheeses and charcuterie, aromatic citron olive oil and traditional Greek rusk bread.
Includes a private tour of the Avaton 1739 Museum with stories of Greek mythology, Dionysus, the Venetians, Kazantzakis and the history of Naxos Castle. You'll also encounter rare wine artifacts such as the Sfouni-Methyron and the Potiri tou Dikaiou.
