About This Tour

Start with a gentle ride across rolling landscapes and rural paths toward the traditional village of Sangri and the Temple of Demeter - one of Naxos' most significant ancient sanctuaries, dedicated to the goddess of agriculture and fertility. Visit the nearby museum for artifacts and exhibits. Continue to a remote hilltop farm where you'll help feed the animals, then take part in a hands-on cheese-making session with a local shepherd, learning traditional techniques while crafting your own cheese from fresh local milk. Conclude with a rustic farm-to-table meal featuring the farm's own produce and homemade specialties.
