Nemea Classics with Private Archaeological Guide

For guests who want the archaeology of Nemea as well as its wine, the Nemea Classics experience is extended with a private guided visit to Ancient Nemea.

A licensed professional guide joins your group for an in depth exploration of the site, bringing its monuments, its mythology and its place in the ancient world to life. Nemea was one of the four great sites of the Panhellenic games, and the guide sets the ruins in the story of the region rather than simply naming them.

The rest of the day follows the Nemea Classics experience. Two selected wineries, guided tastings led by a local Sommelier and Oenologist, an introduction to Agiorgitiko and the Nemea PDO, scenic stops through the vineyards, and local food paired with the wines.

Departure and return to Athens, with transport included. The wine experience runs approximately 5 hours, with a 1.5 hour guided archaeological visit alongside it.

Each experience is personally curated and hosted by a team of wine professionals, including an Oenologist and Sommelier.

Winery selection is curated to suit the group, the character of the experience and winery availability. The final itinerary and participating wineries are confirmed before the experience and may be adjusted where necessary.
