About This Tour
Day 1: Depart Athens for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and Arachova. Visit Apollo's sanctuary and museum at the site the ancients called the Navel of the Earth. Afternoon free in Delphi. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning at leisure in Delphi. Travel through Central Greece via Lamia to Kalambaka, the gateway town to Meteora. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Visit Meteora - particularly impressive scenery where ageless monasteries cling to the summits of massive granite pillars. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae, arriving early evening.
