About This Tour
Most visitors see Mykonos from a sunbed or a bar stool. This tour shows you something entirely different - the raw, rugged, and utterly beautiful island that lies beyond the whitewashed streets.
Travelling in a convoy of 4x4/SUV vehicles, you and your group set off along the coast to Choulakia beach before climbing to the Armenistis lighthouse, where the views stretch across the Aegean. From there, the route pushes inland through the agricultural heart of the island - past the dam, along tracks through Marathi, and down to the peaceful bay of Agios Sostis.
The adventure continues around Ano Mera, where you'll pass farming land that has changed little in centuries and stop near the site of an old abandoned mine at Merchia beach. After a lunch break in Ano Mera village, the tour winds south through Kalafatis and the lush green valley of Halara, arriving at Agrari Beach for a well-earned swim and coffee stop.
The return to town ends on a high - literally - with a final photo stop at the Panorama point, looking out over the port and the island you've just explored.
