About This Tour
A 3-hour food tour walking through the winding backstreets of Naxos Old Town, where history, culture and local flavors come together. Led by a local English-speaking guide, the walk begins at the historic port and climbs through the narrow alleyways of the Old Town toward the Venetian Castle. Visit traditional neighborhoods, open-air food markets and hear stories about Naxos' rich past and present.
Tasting journey features: Naxian cheeses paired with wine, fresh bread from a wood-fired oven with olive oil, phyllo snacks served with tsipouro, a variety of traditional mezes, handmade sweets, and four local alcoholic drinks (1 glass white wine, 1 glass red wine, rakomelo and the famous Naxian citron liqueur). Great photo spots around the castle area and old town streets.
