About This Tour
A half-day journey (approximately 4 hours) where ancient legends, sacred sites and local flavors come together. Travel comfortably through the island's countryside in a modern vehicle with a professional, licensed English-speaking guide.
First stop: Sanctuary of Demeter, overlooking the fertile plains of Sangri - an elegant marble temple dedicated to the goddess of agriculture and fertility. Entrance to the site is included.
Then, a tasting of Naxos' finest local products: traditional cheeses, olives and a glass of local wine, reflecting the spirit of Greek hospitality (Xenios Zeus).
Continuing to the Sanctuary of Dionysus, set among olive groves, fig trees and vineyards, with captivating stories of Dionysus and Ariadne, the ecstatic dances of his followers, ancient harvest celebrations and wine banquets.
