About This Tour
An ideal opportunity to explore Macedonia, the Land of Alexander the Great, and make a unique journey through 7,000 years of Greek history.
Day 1: Thebes → Levadia → Arachova → Delphi (archaeological site) → Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Meteora monasteries on their dramatic suspended rocks → Valley of Tempi with views of Mount Olympos → Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Thessaloniki city tour: White Tower, Roman Forum, Ottoman Market, St Demetrius Church, Byzantine Walls, Palace and Arch of Galerius, Rotunda. Afternoon free. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Edessa waterfalls → Naoussa (Aristotle's School) → Vergina Museum (King Philip II's tomb) → Veria (Saint Paul's Bema). Return to Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Pella: Alexander the Great's capital with 4th-century BC mosaics → Archaeological Park of Dion → Thermopylae (Leonidas' Monument) → Athens.

- 2Day 2: Meteora monasteries on the rocks. Drive through Thessaly, Valley of Tempi & the shadow of Mount Olympus to Thessaloniki. Dinner & overnight.
- 3Day 3: Thessaloniki city tour: White Tower, Roman Forum, Arch of Galerius, Byzantine Walls, Ano Poli. Free afternoon. Dinner & overnight.
- 4Day 4: Edessa waterfalls, Naoussa & Aristotle's School, Vergina Royal Tomb Museum, Veria & its Biblical trail. Return to Thessaloniki. Dinner & overnight.
- 5Day 5: Pella ancient mosaics, Archaeological Park of Dion on the slopes of Mount Olympus. Return via Thermopylae & Thebes to Athens.
